About Me
Khalid Mateen, RRT
Welcome to my e-portfolio.
My name is Khalid Mateen, and I am a registered respiratory therapist at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus, located in the nation's capital. In addition, I work as a business systems analyst working with the Epic EMR system at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.
My educational background consists of a bachelor's degree with a minor in biology and a minor in public administration. In addition, I have completed an advanced diploma in Respiratory Therapy. I am also currently enrolled in the Master of Health Studies with a leadership focus at Athabasca University.
My goal is to share my knowledge, expertise, and ongoing education with learners who may be considering pursuing similar career paths as I have. As a professional, I have always strived to be a lifelong learner in any endeavours I have pursued, and I enjoy transferring that knowledge and expertise to my students and mentorees whom I come across.
In addition to fulfilling various course requirements of my program at Athabasca University, I hope this ePortfolio serves as another avenue through which I can achieve my goals.
